There are several ways you can collaborate with Spot the Monk…

As a passionate citizen scientist:

• by participating in the collection of samples (see “Our Bioblitzs” section)
• by supplying spaces (e.g. garages) for storing samples until the UniMiB team arrives to collect/process them.

As a researcher:

This site only shows the distribution of samples testing positive for the presence of traces of DNA attributable to the monk seal. If you are a colleague who sees the potential of these data to dig a little deeper into our results, please contact us!
